Tunes from \u00c4lvdalen in all corners of the world – get to know one of Sweden’s largest entrepreneurs! Sweden’s largest manufacturer of musical instruments has its history in \u00c4lvdalen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For more than half a century, the company Hagstr\u00f6m in \u00c4lvdalen supplied Sweden and the world with accordions, electric guitars and amplifiers. From a one-man company housed in “Snus-Gustav’s” store in \u00c4lvdalen to a global group with over 400 employees in both factories and stores, traces of one of Sweden’s largest entrepreneurs testify.<\/p>\n

At the museum you can see a selection of instruments from Hagstr\u00f6m and learn about the company’s history. The museum is located on classic ground, the building that houses the museum was once part of Hagstr\u00f6m’s factory buildings in central \u00c4lvdalen. The figures from the Hagstr\u00f6m era are impressive: 700,000 accordions made, 130,000 electric guitars and basses, thousands of speakers and amplifiers and 70,000 Swedes trained at Hagstr\u00f6m Music School. One of the world’s largest collections of Hagstr\u00f6m guitars is today located in \u00c4lvdalen.<\/p>\n
