Långö Ironworks

In the footsteps of the scythe smiths

For over 100 years, Långö Bruk was an industrial community whose name became known throughout the world. There were smithies, a manor house, a school, and everything else that belonged to a mill. Today, the smiths’ hammer blows have fallen silent, and only a couple of houses and a few house foundations remain.
